Our family makes this smoothie (or something similar to it) quite frequently.  Very easy.  If we can do it, YOU can do it!  Play with the measurements to your liking.  The key is to try to use fresh fruit but always add one frozen fruit to give it a “chill”.  Enjoy!


1 cup spinach

1 cup water

*Blend together in blender until smooth.


Then Add:

1 banana

1 cup frozen mango/strawberry mix (or similar)

1/2 cup fresh pineapple (or similar)

Juice from 1/4 lime or lemon


*Optional additions to keep your appetite satisfied longer:

Add 1/8 cup Greek yogurt

Add a tsp. flax seed seed


*Makes 1 serving.
